Rosie Jacobs
My background isn’t in fitness – in fact, quite the opposite.
I started my journey in October 2016. My sister got engaged and the role of her Maid of Honour was genuinely terrifying. Why? Because I was extremely self-conscious.
I was overweight, had a poor body image and very unhappy.
My weight has fluctuated throughout the years having tried every ‘diet’ under the sun. Being a textbook yo-yo dieter was playing havoc with my health and mind.
I wanted to change my distorted outlook on diets and weight loss once and for all.
There was one thing I hadn’t tried; hard work and good nutrition.
So, with the help of a Personal Trainer I embarked on a journey to find a definitive answer to a happier and healthier me. Ten months later I had lost almost five stones and that was only the beginning.
Fitness has become a way of life, so much so that I left my 9-5 job for a path in this industry.
My overriding reason for this change in career is to inspire, motivate and encourage other people to achieve their goals. Now I have a platform to prevent anyone going through the same battles that I did.
I know the struggle more than anyone and know first-hand what it takes.
So what does it take?
My workouts include lots of weight training, functional exercises, and high intensity interval training (HIIT)...pretty much anything that involves a lot of energy!
If you train with me my promise to you is that no two workouts will be the same. I will show you how to gain muscle, burn calories and improve your overall fitness.
Whether you want to lose weight, gain fitness, work on building muscle and strength or just need some confidence in the gym...I can help.
Feel free to come have a chat with me on the gym floor or contact me.
