Starting from a young age, I have always had a passion for sports and fitness, however it was only when receiving physio for a major operation due to a curvature of the spine (Scoliosis) that I began to really develop a solid interest in fitness and health. I started to self-study and found out quickly traditional forms of cardio-vascular exercise was not always the optimum form of body composition. This is where my interest in resistance training and HIIT started to grow.
To expand on my knowledge, I enrolled on a sports & fitness course at college to further learn more theory and practiced these among my peers and friends. The gym has always been a place where I believe you can learn a lot about yourself, whether it be surpassing your own expectations or finding your physical and mental limits and improve on these.
